Well peeps i'm finally back from the redprint radi8 youth camp. I have got to thank the G.U.M.O (Gear Up Move Out) committee for their hardwork in planning the camp, running the backend stuffs; to pastor wilson for helping us front the youth camp and for garnering support and sponsorship from the church and to God for touching each and everyone of us.
I definitely had such a great time there. The days would start with devotion then with breakfast followed by the morning services. Lunch would follow and then group games and leisure time. After dinner, night services resumed so we were pretty much packed up throughout the whole camp and not forgetting the late nights we had just chatting and hanging around with each other.
The sermons really ministered to me especially the first night sermon by ps wilson. I once had a dream of serving God and since then i have always kept (at least tried my best) myself fervent till the past few months when circumstances and everything around me wasn't going the way i think it should be going and i just simply lost track of where i wanted to be. During the altar call God reminded me of the times when i made those prayers of serving Him, the very dreams i made He told me He would fulfill. At that very moment i felt God as if yanking me back on track from where i am now. The one line from ps wilson's sermon (actually that was more or less the only part of the sermon i took notes on coz he was telling us of his experience of his dream of the youthcamp and how it came into place) :
"In fulfilling the reprint of Christ for our lives, let's not be interrupted by external circumstances and logical reasoning"
That very sentence shook me up to realise that God's ways ain't like our ways and it tends to work away from our logical reasoning.
I was definitely ministered in every way during the camp and i thoroughly enjoyed myself throughout the camp. Waiting for camp echo this friday and then prayerfully another youthcamp next year!
